What PricedNews is

Independent odds behind the news. We report what prediction markets price. We don't take bets and we don't give betting advice.

Nothing on this site is betting, investment, financial or legal advice. A market price is a crowd's estimate, not a forecast we make or a promise about what will happen. If you trade on a market, you do it on that venue, under its rules, at your own risk.

Where the numbers come from

Polymarket prices, linked and timestamped, refreshed every minute. Markets under $25,000 traded are flagged as thin.

Prices from Polymarket, with Kalshi, Smarkets, Limitless, Myriad, Metaculus and Manifold alongside. Every figure links to the market it came from. Official figures, like interest rates and inflation, come from the publishing agency, usually through FRED. Hazard alerts come from GDACS, USGS, the US National Hurricane Center and NASA EONET.

Names and trademarks of venues and publishers belong to their owners. We're not affiliated with any of them, and no one pays us to feature a market.

Standards

We write "after" or "within minutes of" an event, and only "because" when a named source says so. Corrections are dated and shown on the page.

For headlines we show only the title and a link to the publisher, never the article. Automatic briefs say they're automatic. Every correction is also listed on the corrections page, and how we read the markets explains the rules behind each number.

Accuracy

We work to keep every number right and up to date, but feeds fail and prices move between refreshes. The site is provided as it is, without warranties, and we're not liable for decisions made using it. If something looks wrong, tell us.

Using our pages

Link to any page and quote short parts with credit to PricedNews and a link. Search engines and AI answer tools are welcome to crawl the site, as set out in robots.txt. Please don't copy the site wholesale or hammer it with automated requests.
